Giving is a natural response to God’s generosity. As followers of Christ, we recognize His lordship over all aspects of life and give as a reflection of our gratitude, dependence on God, and desire to partner with Him in His work.

We ask God, “What is my next step in giving?” Whether it’s becoming a first-time giver, giving consistently, or moving toward giving generously, sacrificial, and even joyfully, each step is an opportunity to grow deeper in faith.

The Bible teaches us to give a tithe (10%) of our income as a way of continually reshaping our hearts to be stewards of God’s resources. While the New Testament rarely mentions tithing directly, it assumes and exceeds this practice, encouraging joyful and abundant giving in response to the eternal blessings we now have in Christ.

First fruits giving means offering the best and first of what we have to God. It reflects our trust in God and our reliance on Him to provide for all our needs, following His example in giving His beloved Son, Jesus, for us.

A pledge is a faith-filled commitment to give to WCPC’s ministry over the next year. It’s not a binding contract but an expression of intent to contribute as God enables.

Pledging helps both individuals and the church plan for the future. It is an act of faith and commitment, helping WCPC continue its mission to foster Christ-Centered Worship, build Joy-Filled Community, and live out Love-Compelled Service.

Pledge information is confidential, shared only with the church’s operations staff and Stewardship Team Elders as necessary.

Our General Fund supports every aspect of WCPC’s life and mission, including caring for the sick, supporting families, nurturing students, hosting Christ-Centered Worship, offering Christian formation, and equipping the congregation for ministry. It also sustains our partnerships with our local and global ministry partners.

If WCPC is your home church, we encourage making your primary financial commitment here. Many also support other ministries and organizations beyond WCPC.“kingdom of God” causes and organizations above and beyond their support of the General Fund.

WCPC’s annual budget is based on faith, prayer, and trust in God’s provision through the generosity of our congregation. We set a giving goal, which helps guide our ministry planning for the year ahead.

Our giving goal for the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year is $2.8 million. Reaching this goal ensures that we can continue to meet our operational needs, expand our ministries, and sustain our mission in the community and world. Individuals who donate stock or mutual funds benefit by being able to claim the market value as a tax-deductible contribution and avoid capital gains taxes. To make a stock donation, fill out this form and submit it to the Church Office.
